Amazing Secluded Treehouses in Atlanta Linked by Bridges.

Architect Peter Bahouth built a series of houses in the trees connected by wooden bridges in Atlanta. Peter is an environmentalist whose love of nature and memories of boyhood treehouses inspired him to create a grown-up fort in his Atlanta backyard. The three rooms of this treehouses have been christened “Mind,” “Body” and “Spirit” by the owner. A suspension bridge connects the living room, or “Mind” portion of this Atlanta treehouse, to the “Body” or bedroom portion, that includes a platform bed that slides out for a better view of the tree canopy.

This arboreal retreat is like a daydream brought to life for most of us, a real enchanted treehouses for grown-ups and unlike many of the treehouses featured on our website in the past, this one  is actually available to rent and comes fully stocked with wine, coffee and plenty of snacks. The whole thing is available at $275 a night.

The photos here were taken for Jane Field-Lewis’ book My Cool Shed, provided courtesy photographer Lindsay Appel.
