Wendy Tsao from Vancouver turns children’s drawings into stuffed toys.
It all started with a search for a favorite toy for my 4 year old son. Wendy wanted to give the boy something special and very private, soft, kind and memorable for a lifetime. Toy, which he would retain for their future children. And instead of having to run to the store, Wendy began to consider his son’s drawings, where he found inspiration.
At one toy Wendy has not stopped and in 2007 launched a campaign “Child’s Own Studio” , which was engaged in sewing toys to children’s drawings. Since then, Wendy sewed hundreds of soft toys on the individual sketches of children of different ages, still surprised the power of their imagination and creativity.
Parents send her to mail the picture, and she sews on it a toy. Currently, Wendy’s so many orders that she Forced to temporarily suspend the acceptance of new, encouraging parents to turn to the many followers of her unusual case that appeared in the U.S., Europe and Brazil.
