Today, in the Spanish town of Bunol, near Valencia, hosts the annual Tomatina festival, also known as “the battle of tomatoes.” Tomatina lasts a week and includes musical numbers, fair, parade, dancing and fireworks. However, the culmination of the holiday, of course, are the tomato street battles taking place on Wednesday. Each year in the tomato madness involved tens of thousands of Spaniards and visitors, and is used by more than 100 tons of tomatoes.
