Sugarloaf and Rio de Janeiro from Height

One of the most recognizable places in Rio de Janeiro – Mount Pan-Sugar Loaf Mountain, or Sugarloaf. It is very unusual pointed shape, the height of 400 meters, towers over the Guanabara Bay, in the eastern part of Rio de Janeiro. At the foot of the mountain, begins the story of the modern city, in 1565 there was founded by the Portuguese settlement, later turned into a modern Rio.
