Rainworks – Positive Street Art that Appear When it Rains

AlexArt, Street Art

Seattle is the perfect home for this new series of water-activated interactive artworks, illustrations, and hidden messages that only appear when wet. Titled Rainworks, the invisible pieces by Seattle-based artist Peregrine Church started popping up last year.

Specifically, it’s one of the Always Dry products, but, as he says, he’s not getting any advertisement money. As for the creation process, it’s done similarly to regular graffiti. You have to start with a stencil, and then apply the coating wherever you want, probably at night.
