Quantum Field X3 was an installation, by Japanese artist Hiro Yamagata, that was created for the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Spain back in 2004. Quantum-X3 consists of two huge structures covered with holographic panels, onto which laser beams are projected to create a vibrant composition. Visitors entering the structures are given a stunning experience of light and color that their unaided senses would find almost impossible to perceive. Exceeding the natural limits of human perception, the work makes light particles visible to the naked eye in fascinating play of light and form.
