People and their fridges

Photographer Stephanie de Rouge tried to understand the inner world of people through their fridges.

Stephanie was always interested in the personality of the city. What does each person, it saves your energy where it finds shelter, private comfort zone. She – the author photo projects “in your room” and “On your roof,” but they are, in her words, not worked out very well. Too many in New York’s impersonal rented apartments and rooms. And one day, coming down from the roof of home to one of the characters, she asked, “Can I take the juice out of the fridge?”. So there was a project “in your refrigerator.”

“I opened the refrigerator for more than 45 from Paris to New York and opened amazing worlds, far more intriguing than I could have expected from the start. And I also learned that it has reached an important milestone in his search for intimacy when people refused to show their refrigerators. If something really lurks between private piece of cheddar and mayonnaise. So … Show me your fridge, and I’ll tell you who you are? Could be. Or maybe not. ”
