Australian artist and sculptor Paul Kaptein links in this series of wooden sculptures materiality with virtual reality. He builds almost exclusively digital noise in his handmade works with one, as you can see on the first 3 pictures of his seated monk, this track is titled “And In The Endless Sounds There Came A Pause”. A Buddhist figure with slightly distorted proportions that seem to be triggered by software.
