One World Trade Center, May 2, took another step forward to become the tallest building in the western hemisphere – its crowning spire was raised on top of a skyscraper. The World Trade Center is the tallest building in New York. And when the last element of the spire will be set in place, 104-story skyscraper, which replaces the destroyed twin towers will be the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, with its 546 meters height.
