In Boston, for 20 years there is a museum where the most terrible pictures of would-be artists.
In 1993 art dealer Scott Wilson, strolling through the streets of Boston, said in a dumpster picture. She was so badly drawn that the opinion of Scott, was hanging in the museum. Not only fine and contemporary art, and the Museum of Bad Art. But this did not exist, so decided to create his art dealer himself.
So there was a Museum of Bad Art, which at first was only one exhibit, and the exhibition was held in the home of a friend of Scott.
“Virtually every city in the world has a museum dedicated to the finest works of art, and ours – the only one of its kind dedicated to collecting and exhibiting the worst work,” – says co-founder and friend Jerry Scott Riley.
Now the museum has three exhibition halls, nearly 600 exhibits and 8,000 visitors a year. photovide.com presents photos of some paintings from the original names of their authors.
