Milla Jovovich – American model and actress
Milla Jovovich (born December 17, 1975) is an American model, actress, musician, and fashion designer. Over her career, she has appeared in a number of science fiction and action-themed films, for which music channel VH1 has referred to her as the “reigning queen of kick-butt”.
Milla Jovovich began modeling when Gene Lemuel convinced Herb Ritts to shoot her for the cover of Lei magazine. Richard Avedon featured her in Revlon’s “Most Unforgettable Women in the World” advertisements, and she continued her career with other campaigns for L’Oréal cosmetics, Banana Republic, Christian Dior, Donna Karan, and Versace. In 1988, she had her first professional acting role in the television film The Night Train to Kathmandu, and later that year, she appeared in her first feature film, Two Moon Junction. Following more small television appearances such as the “Fair Exchange” (1989) and a 1989 role as a French girl (she was 14 at the time) on a Married… with Children episode and film roles, she gained notoriety with the romance film Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991). She appeared in 1993’s Dazed and Confused, before a short hiatus. Jovovich then acted alongside Bruce Willis in the science fiction film The Fifth Element (1997), and later played the title role in The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999). In 2002, she starred in the video game adaptation Resident Evil, which spawned four sequels: Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) and Resident Evil: Retribution (2012).
New ‘Resident Evil’ Details Reveal Title for Finale!
Forget eating dinner, Collider scored massive new details about the next installment of Resident Evil, which is tentatively titled Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
The site caught up with franchise director/producer/writer Paul W.S. Anderson, who updates the status of the delayed production, while also revealing the potential title.<3299137">
“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the working title. It may end up being the final title, but that’s what’s written on the front page of my script… I’m right in the middle of [the first draft].”
Anderson also confirms that he’s writing this draft as if it’s the final movie:
“That’s what’s on the title page, it’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, so absolutely.”
While the sixth and final film was to be released this September, Anderson did tell the site that there is still no start date as they have to complete the screenplay first.
Milla Jovovich is confirmed to return as Alice. The fifth film, the 2012 Resident Evil: Retribution, ended with Alice and co. taking a final stand at the White House. I’m excited to see this premise come to life – maybe they’ll even go to space?
You’ll find more over at the above link, including talk about filming the finale in 3-D.
Milla Jovovich looks weary in stripped T-shirt and green trousers as she jets out to Cannes
So no wonder actress Milla Jovovich seemed to be looking forward to a relaxing break in France as she jetted out to Cannes.
The 38-year-old model appeared slightly exhausted while dressed in a casually chic ensemble at LAX on Tuesday, teaming a stripped green T-shirt with a pair of jade trousers.
The weary mother-of-one still had some work to do after arriving to the airport however, and was sweating as she wheeled her two suitcases into the departure lounge.
Mila carried a can of cola to quench her thirst, with the caffeine no doubt a boon for staving off her pre-flight fatigue.
With her brunette hair raked back in a ponytail, the actress accentuated her complexion with pink blush and a slick of coral lipstick.
