Swiss mountaineering brand Mammut frequently teams up with talented mountaineering photographer Robert Böesch to capture incredibly creative photographs that show off some of the Alps’ most renowned peaks alongside the Mammut gear that has often helped humans reach the summits of those peaks unharmed.
Armed with eye-catching red suits, perfect for the snowy background, the mountaineers were able to demonstrate their impressive climbing skills and beautiful choreographic compositions by hiking and clinging to climbing ropes throughout the Alps. One of the most unbelievable shots was taken while at night, when the team illuminated the route to the top of the Matternhorn with red lights to pay tribute to explorer Edward Whymper and his team, which ascended it for the first time 150 years ago.
This Mammut’s ad campaign 2015 is a perfect example of branding and artistic photography coming together to create beautiful scenery for us to admire.
