Glacial Lake Jökulsárlón: a Generous Gift from the Snow Queen, Iceland

Jökulsárlón (literally “glacial river lagoon”) is a large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the borders of Vatnajökull National Park.

Travelling Icelandic ring road, you can capture extraordinary picture – big blocks of ice, which is difficult to see at a glance the lake tightly stuck to the edge of the lagoon.
