Kumi Yamashita, an amazing artist, uses a single, unbroken thread wrapped around thousands of nails to create stunning portraits.
In the ongoing series entitled CONSTELLATION, the Japanese artist uses three simple materials to produce these otherworldly works of art.

“This body of work consists of three simple materials that, when combined, produce the portraits: a wooden panel painted a solid white, thousands of small galvanized nails, and a single, unbroken, common sewing thread.”
