A Rare Hybrid Solar Eclipse

He waited six years. On 3 November, the Earth was a rare hybrid eclipse. Like it was in 2007, and the following happens only 10 years old, in 2023. Eclipse called hybrid, as it changes from full on annular and back.

But in some cases, due to the nature of the orbit of the moon, it is a little further away from our planet. In such cases, our satellite covers the sun is not completely and we see the annular eclipse: the edges of the solar disk observed bright “fringe” that surrounds the dark lunar disk:

A rare hybrid solar eclipse began at 15.05 MSK. At this point, the residents of Caribbean islands, Latin America and the east coast of the United States were able to see how the dark disk of the moon begins to hang around in the sun, turning it into a crescent moon.

Phase annular eclipse lasted just 15 seconds, after which it passed in the full phase and remained in it until the end of the eclipse.
