Publisher Scholastic submitted anniversary variant covers for the best-selling children’s book.
To celebrate the 33 th anniversary of the birth of Harry Potter and the 15th anniversary of the publication of the first book of a great boy of all time, publisher Scholastic announced the sale of books in the new cover. A terrific job for the publication by the famous artist magazine New York Times Kazu Kibuishi , who has long been a fan of the series. Each of his paintings depicts a particularly memorable moments of the story books.
The collection, which will be presented in September in the form of a gift set, designed for new readers who just grow up and get ready to meet a series of books JK Rowling. Scholastic also announced that in November 2013 they were first released in the United States complete set of the Hogwarts library, including “Quidditch from antiquity to the present day”, “Fantastic Beasts and their habitats” and “Tales of the Bard Biedl.”
15 years after the first U.S. publication of JK Rowling’s first book, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in the U.S. have been printed more than 150 million copies, and the whole series is still regularly gets the bestseller lists. The seven Harry Potter books have been published in 73 languages, has sold more than 450 million copies worldwide.
