Flower Sculptures in Montreal International Mosaicultures 2013 Show Exhibition
In the botanical garden of Montreal opened the festival of colors.
In Montreal, Canada started the festival Mosaiculture, which aims to unite all fans of gardening and landscape design from around the world. It is a contest for the best art project, which is more than 22 thousand different species of plants in 30 thematic gardens. The most attractive part of the exhibition is the so-called “living” sculptures of plants, which is housed in the top 50 works of young artists and designers from 20 countries. The theme of this year’s exhibition was chosen “Mother Earth”, according to which the authors had demonstrated in his works the harmony and beauty of the world.
Sculptures were created using a steel frame, which is built into the internal irrigation system and growing medium, so that the flowers can bloom throughout the summer until the end of the exhibition on September 29.
