Finger painting is now fine art at the hands of 28 year old artist Iris Scott. Rapidly applying thick oil color with several points of contact rather than one Iris Scott can be classified as a modern impressionist. Her inspiration is found on the road as her composition-hunting continues to take her abroad. Recently back from Thailand Iris is nearly finished with her new collection of 10+ Thai originals.
Pulling on his hands thin latex gloves, Iris dips his fingers in the paint, and then transferred to the canvas what she whispers imagination. Landscapes, women like nymphs, the city in the rays of the evening sun, the dog in the water spray – all this is made up of tens of thousands of strokes, the artist’s touch. So it is up and running, alternating short strokes with long, mixing paint on his hands, and then directly on the canvas.
To say what happens magically – it’s nothing to say. Photo Vide in an incredible delight!
