Chris Hondros (March 14, 1970 – April 20, 2011) was an American Pulitzer Prize-nominated war photographer.

In April 2011, renowned photographer Chris Hondors that with the 1990s covered many of the armed conflicts in the world, including Kosovo, Angola, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, Iraq, was killed in a mortar attack in Misrata, Libya. His close the fund was established, named in his honor, he provides financial support for photographers who work in the same vein.
