Birds rendered in flower petals by Hong Yi

A talented artist Hong Yi introduced the world to hER new project “Flower Bird”.

Chinese artist Hong Yi became famous for creating works of art out of unusual materials, constantly surprising the world with new works.

In my summer project “Flower Bird” Hong Yi draws exotic birds, but instead of feathers they flower petals. Overlaid on each other, layer by layer, it creates amazing compositions, catchy look with its brightness and variety of colors. Easy at first execution technique is actually not so simple: the first picture was a picture of a peacock, who was admitted to the artist herself, was more like a turkey, but with each new bird Hong Yi hone their skills. A riot of colors in combination with the perfectly suited for imaging materials make it work in the real masterpieces!
